Jan Paulsen speaks on Origins

Notice this gentlemanly "conversation" Paulsen is trying to have with the La Sierra and Spectrum hardheads:

http://www.spectrummagazine.org/blog/2009/06/19/ap peal#comment-28875

The comments are worth a peek also. I learned a new word, that we all should look up the definition of:

pogrom

Re: Jan Paulsen speaks on Origins

Bob, where have you been the last 40-50 years that you've never heard "pogrom" before?

Some of us oldies (and those of us who do read, after all,) have recognized that word since the mid 40s. Or, in studying history (you did study world history, didn't you?) it's a common word.

Get thyself a dictionary and encyclopedia and beging reading. When you've finished, come back and talk with your peers.

Re: Jan Paulsen speaks on Origins

When I saw it, it looked misspelled to me and still does only I finally checked the word for myself.

Now, why don't you tell everyone, including overly concerned John, why you won't answer my question and the one Neal has mocked me with for some time. I'm sure you have read the question and the reason for the concern. Why not a simple admission?

I learned a new word, that we all should look up the definition of:

That is sad. Literally pathetic. It might help you to get off the computer for a year or 5 and come back when you are less ignorant.

Unbelievable that, on top of being ignorant, you then have the nerve to assume those you converse with are as ignorant as yourself by telling us to go look up this great new word you learned.

I learned that word in the 3rd grade when I read & studied the whole dictionary from "a" to "zyzzyva".

I think this will be my last post which contains any comment or reference to you Bob. I might as well be talking to a 10 year old who is growing up in the swamps of Louisiana.

Neal, pathetic seems to fit you, the word comes out of your mouth off your key board like melted butter. It suites you.

TA TA TA, Elaine will miss the atheistic garble. I can't say I will.
